• Chaos/failure-injection mindset — kill a service, drop the bus, flap the network; prove the platform degrades gracefully.

• Keeps the respect of senior engineers through technical credibility; comfortable telling a tech lead their branch isn't ready — and delivering that fast, with data.

• Show-me mentality on committed timelines: quality visible in every Friday demo, never the bottleneck.
